We focus on successful and productive engineering design, including hands on introductions to 3D modeling and printing.   Computer Aided-Design (CAD) as well as Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) equipment will be discussed in depth.  Prototyping techniques and utilization of the Scientific Method through hands on activities.     

DC Motors allow for much of the progress in automation over the last one hundred years.  We dive into how they work, and how they are built.  

Introduction to electronics from the “ground” up, pun-intended.  We discuss how electricity works in a fun and interactive way.  Discussions from AC versus DC to how energy is transferred in systems like the Electric Vehicles on the roads (and at our raceway)!

A comfortable understanding of coding is essential for the future.  Here we start from the basics of coding logic and progress through full scale app development and implementation.   

The basis for the Internet of Things (IoT), combining programming with physical motion of objects.  Wifi and other remote controlled devices, drones, communications, electro-mechanics and machine vision are explored in detail.
